The Regional Monitoring Program for Water Quality in San Francisco Bay (RMP) is managed and operated by the San Francisco Estuary Institute (SFEI). SFEI was founded as a non-profit organization in 1986 to foster the development of the scientific understanding needed to protect and enhance the San Francisco Estuary.
