The State Water Board will consider adopting the Amended Guidelines as early as the Tuesday, October 15, 2019 State Water Board Meeting.
The Water Quality, Supply, and Infrastructure Improvement Act of 2014 (Prop 1) allocated $200 million for multi-benefit storm water management grants (Water Code section 79747). The Prop 1 Storm Water Grant Program Guidelines, which were initially adopted by the State Water Board on December 15, 2015, outline the process to solicit applications, criteria to evaluate and select eligible proposals, and requirements that apply to funded projects. Staff have developed the Draft Amended Guidelines in anticipation of the second solicitation for implementation projects (Round 2), which is anticipated to open late 2019.
