PUBLIC MEETING: Trinity River: Oregon Gulch channel rehabilitation project

November 5, 2020 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

The Bureau of Reclamation, along with the Bureau of Land Management and the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board, will host a virtual public meeting on the Trinity River Restoration Program’s proposed Oregon Gulch channel rehabilitation project in Trinity County on November 5.

This project would construct a forced meander bend and rehabilitate floodplains on a section of the Trinity River at Oregon Gulch to increase salmon-and-steelhead habitat downstream of Lewison Dam.

The virtual meeting will include TRRP presentations and opportunities to ask questions and provide input. A public scoping notice for the project will be available on October 22, 2020 here:
