FREE WEBINAR: Lagunitas Creek Habitat Restoration

May 6, 2020 @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am

This webinar will focus on The Lagunitas Creek restoration project that was completed by the Salmon Protection and Watershed Network (SPAWN), an initiative of Turtle Island Restoration Network. The project restores lost floodplains and native riparian forest to improve habitat for endangered Coho salmon, threatened steelhead trout, and numerous other wildlife species.

After learning about the details of the project, we will learn about the permitting process. The project was completed using Sustainable Conservation-sponsored programmatic permits which help accelerate the pace and scale of habitat restoration statewide.
